Meet Kara.
Kara Driscoll is a communications professional and freelance writer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. As the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center, she is responsible for elevating and promoting the museum's mission of ensuring the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today.
With experience in print and multi-media journalism, Kara values the power of storytelling. She reported on military affairs and business topics for Cox Media Group for more than three years. She was the recipient of the 2018 Burns Fellowship, reporting on foreign policy at German newspaper Die Welt in Berlin.
She is the winner of an Ohio Associated Press First Place Award for Explanatory Reporting. Kara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Cincinnati in 2016. Her work has been published in various national outlets including Fortune Magazine, The Associated Press, The Virginian-Pilot, Stars and Stripes, TimeOut.com, The Seattle Times and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She is currently accepting freelance writing, marketing, and consultation work.
